February continued the slow but steady real estate market that the new year ushered in. Last month 9 Coastal Realty Group agents had at least one closing, and several had multiple closings, so we are seeing evidence that the market is heating up like the weather.
Spring confirmed the predictions of the groundhogs, and we have enjoyed mostly warmer days, even though they have been pretty wet. Perhaps we are getting those April showers early!
In the Real Estate Market, prices are holding steady although mortgage rates have started easing back up. Insurance prices remain a real issue for Florida home owners and home buyers, and you may see vacation rental prices going up this spring and summer to help compensate for that.
Spring Break has begun and we are seeing more traffic and experiencing the coastal excitement again through the eyes of our tourists. It does remind us that we live in paradise and don't ever want to take that for granted.
Scroll down for a recap of February's new listings and price changes and look up the events in the area! There's always something to do at The Forgotten Coast!
Sunniest Regards!
